Chilli, spaghetti bolognaise and macaroni cheese.
Salmon in tin foil. Roast chicken. Soup.
Great minds think alike!
A roast - to learn how to get the timings right. Curry - to learn about the combination of spices, bread - to learn about the science of the baking process
How to make a simple omelette. The first time I tried I thought you needed flour b awful.
POT NOODLE they're teenagers they're too busy chasing girls/boys to worry about all that nonsense. As a boy I just got an older girlfriend who would cook for me, job done!!
Bolognaise/chilli
Minestrone soup
Roast
Full Sunday roast with all the trimmings and with different meats for general cooking skills and timing skills, we well as working out how to judge cooking times, make gravy from scratch etc...

Whatever their favourite takeaway is but a way to make it themselves but from scratch and, if possible, healthier. Preferably something with some more skill involved.

Probably an omelette as can be made with all kinds of different things.
I reckon your teenager should pick three they know they like and would like to be able to cook for themselves and friends.
My teenage son is crazy about lasagne.
How to make sauces. Bought a shop one which was tasteless.
I would be more concerned about teaching your teenager on tax returns, law and bills. anyone will cook for him/her but those are fundamental things needed and why they are not taught in school
I had a friend who asked me to teach them to make an omelette. Turns out they were using milk in them like making scrambled eggs and it was all going wrong!
tax returns not necessary in most cases unless self employed or renting out rooms etc. Teaching law is a mistake unless you have a background in law yourself as you will end up with a bunch of people who know diddly squat about law!
Anyway back to the OP

Sheperds/cottage pie
Roast meat
chowmein
Islay, they could be taught to cook the books!
I like Islays confidence in the future of teens stipulating that none of them will be successful enough to run their own companies or be able to learn the ways the current system is putting people in a compromising position and shafting them. Well done islay, you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem!! I hope you are proud
And I like the way peelerpal is a knowitall pita!!

The online system is getting easier and easier and as most teenagers are now computer literate they should have no issue with accessing and using the system!
