Tuna tins

Why are they all small now?  I find it really irritating.  Are any of the manufacturers or supermarkets still doing the large tins?

I personally, wouldn't eat Tuna if you paid me, but it comes down to economics, the smaller the tin, the faster its finished, and the quicker your back to buy more.

They all still do the big tins round where I live.  Personally I love the little tins, just the right amount for making my sarnies for work with no waste!

I've just broken off from AB to visit Tesco. (No beer in the 'fridge - panic nearly set in!). While there, I checked out their cans of Tuna.

Tesco have own-brand tuna chunks (400g tins) in either brine or sunflower oil. Both at 98p.

You can get seriously big tins of all kinds of things at shops that cater for bed & breakfast people, such as farm stores!

Iceland sometimes do them too, and I have seen extra big tins in some Tescos too.These are tins of soup, beans, mayonnaise, etc that are big enough to use as waste bins when you have finished the contents.
