I know it's just stress and worry but I've not properly all week and not at all for two days and now I've gone so far past it that I feel really sick. I tried a glass of milk as though that was more of a food and brought it straight bk up. Have been to pharmacy just now and asked about maybe Complan or something similar but they also said not good idea as milk. What's best as I'm in a vicious circle now - can't eat because I feel sick and feel sick because I haven't eaten

Chicken consomme should be OK.
Or chicken broth, but not cream of chicken, or chicken broth, but not cream of chicken.
Ice lollies or just ice.

I know how you feel. Stress does the exact same thing to me.
Don't know how that got duplicated.
Aww, poor you. At least try to drink water or fruity drink. Maybe just biscuits/ crackers for now. Would you see Doctor? Perhaps you could do with some temporary medication to help with the stress and anxiety.
Dehydration will be making you feel much worse.
Small sips of water every 15 minutes and when you feel up to it, try nibbling a ginger nut biscuit or cream cracker. Move on to rice krispies or toast when you can keep the food down.
Two paracetamol every 4 hours. Get well soon.
Can you keep plain water down? If you can, add calories by drinking dilute fruit squash, the sugary kind. I like Bottle Green, the ginger and lemongrass is good for nausea. Another option is ginger ale allowed to go flat, again the sugary kind not diet. I’d also be going to see the doc.....

Not sure whether it was a good idea but I've had a drink of lucozade
That's what I usually go for, Smow.
Never worry about not eating - when i get vertigo I literally haven't ate a bite for maybe 4 days and nights. When appetite does come back I eat like a woman obsessed. It is important to keep drinking water - anything liquidy apart from milk as milk curdles in your stomach.

It is stress and annoyance at what you are coming through with your son.

Lucozade has stayed down so far.....
I frequently go five days or more at a time without eating anything. Trying to find something to kickstart my appetite is the bane of my life.

I do find eating Baby bel cheese, salami, and flavoured milk are easy to nibble on and bring, fat, sugar and protein to the party.

Good luck.

Good luck!

Size 8?? Blimey.

Thanks everyone - much appreciated as always xx
Whenever I feel like that I drink Lucozade and eat Thin Arrowroot biscuits. Its important that you line your stomach with something.

Complan is so utterly 'orrible, that I couldn't possibly eat it, ill or not !

What about some mashed potato ? Or maybe cornflakes or weetabix ?
You should be able to keep down a drink of half milk, half soda water. Maybe small quantities at a time. I was recommended this many years ago, and have always been able to drink this when all else was hopeless.
i've sometimes kept fizzy drink down when even water came back up again. Ginger ale could be useful - ginger's good for upset stomachs.
