I've been making various things with quince for several years but have always used the largish fruits. This week I was given a bag full of smaller fruits ranging from the size of a plum to a small aplple. Can I use these in the same way as the others? as I'd hate to waste them

The flesh from small fruit has the same characteristics as that of larger ones so, yes, they can be used the same way.

Thank you very much KARL, I thought so but wanted to be sure, I shall be making preserves as gifts and didn't want to poison anyone.
