Anybody having problems with Sweetex? Container not releasing the sweeteners or just bits, don't realise until you taste your drink. The containers I've been buying have stuck on labels, brand not in the plastic. Is faking possible?

Sorry, but stop buying this chemical rubbish.

That's really helpful, thank you very much and have a lovely Christmas.
Hi Sam. I suppose it is possible. Do you know and trust the supply source? Could be out of date stock bought up and relabelled I suppose, but unless artificial sweetener is high value stuff I can't see the point. Anyway I thought you were sweet enough.
All the brands can have problems. If one dispenser has issues the next may well be fine.

Thanks Togo and OG, I'm going to speak to the manufacturer on Monday.
Ohh and Jen, did it not occur to you that someone may have a medical condition that necessitated sweetener rather than sugar? Not putting a downer on you, but some categories on the "Bank" need a considered reply.

Thanks Togo, you got in one. I'm weaning myself off Sweetex, stopped using it in coffee, just tea to go.
i use sweetener as i'm a diabetic and i found the canderel container (tablets) are getting stuck. I used hermasetas and found they were breaking up the tablets so bits were falling out. I use powdered at home but carry the others for work etc.....

yes i agree some people can be insensative so thank you Togo

Nobody "needs" sweeteners in drinks. "Wants" is a different matter.
I always click the tablet sweetener into my hand first so I know exactly how much comes out, never straight into the drink.
I use Canderell simply because I prefer the taste but in my opinion all the brands can have dodgy dispensers from time to time which is why I originally started catching the tablets in my hand first.
Why not try Boots sweetners. They come in a non-click container 1000 for £1.99 and taste the same to me.
The one in current use keeps breaking up so my solution is to drop pellet into hand then drop into cup/mug, at least you know you are getting something. Seem to get a faulty container every now and again.
