Jeez, if you want a good pizza find a shop that is personally owned where the owner has grown up with pizza and makes every one as a personal masterpiece.

The Pizzas in 'Pizza Express' are better than in my local Italian Restaurant.
With something like a pizza they are freshly made on the premises, so they are not really going to be mass produced and homogeneous.

Tomatoes on sale in the UK are grown in Spain. Specialist meats and cheeses are also flown in. Pineapple is not native. So there is no real difference how the restaurant sources its ingredients, whether in little plastic bags or from the wholesalers, it is all the same stuff.
