Judging by the times on the Latest Posts,people's must have moved "En masse" to prepare their Tea..or Dinner...What do you call it...and do you always cook at the same time,every night?

Yes I tend to cook the midweek evening meal at the same time so that it's ready after hubby has wound down when he comes home from work.

I am sure this has been debated before !

I have lunch, if I have it all, at between 12:00 and 13:30. Sometimes I might have "Brunch" a little earlier. especially if I have missed breakfast.

Tea would a meal with with very small sandwiches and cakes, at about 15:00'ish.

Nursery Tea, if served at all, is a little later, and might include poached eggs on toast.

Dinner is rather late in my house, and is always eaten at about 20:00, and is the main meal of the day. Wine is almost always served, and there should be some kind of pudding as well, preferably with custard.

Agree with Mamy. We have Lunch and Tea. Only called Dinner if we are eating out.

I should say that all mentioned in my post above is only adhered to when the Butler is on duty.

On his day off, it all gets a bit ragged I'm afraid.

As a singleton Ark double checks spelling ;-) I can eat when one want's unless I've made plans etc... however no-one messes when the Chase is on... Like Mamya I'm also a northerner so it's tea-time oop here.

Mike we'd all be massive if we ate that much every day. We usually eat about 8pm and Mr BD usually has a small glass of wine. Puddings are very rare, usually only at Christmas or a big family get together. Wish we had a butler to do the clearing up. Mr BD does all the cooking but I have to do the washing up.

Mamy....I tend to pass on the Nursery Tea these days....I don't want to get fat after all !
