Shredded Wheat

I have some of the above in a plastic container but can't remember when I put them there ,is the a shelf life ?

I'd probably have given it a go. I have some cornflakes in a plastic container which I can't remember when I put them in, but occasionally I'll have a bowl and they're fine.
