Would You Snoop?

Just watched a bit of Four in a Bed where the other contestants look everywhere for dust, hairs, lime scale blah blah.

I know it's a competition for them but it's got me thinking.
If you were to stay at a friends house, would you look for dust behind things, hairs or suchlike?

It's put me off having friends to stay now Ha Ha.
I'm clean, I think, but I'm sure there is always something to find if you look for it.

Do normal people do this or is it just for the show?

No, although I do admit to straightening all of the pictures hanging on the walls when I was dog-sitting in my friend's flat recently ;-)

if I was staying at a friends, no way.

Staying in a B&B or hotel is different tho, and am sure some displays of shock, horror are purely for the programme.

It is entirely led by the production team.

However, I do feel the lifting of bath bungs and searching down the back of radiators is OTT.

There also seems to be a common belief that spiders will not enter a room after the last inspection.

With appreciate the hospitality of all my hosts. Friends and family will never be judged. A business will be be judged, but in a reasonable manner.

In a friend's house not at all ....... this is just for the show or for folk who have a penny on themselves....

If you don't like the dogs hairs in my house, don't sit on the furniture- I am likewise with anyone I go to stay with, grateful of their hospitality. Hotels are another thing altogether.

TV Shows are shows and participants are paid to do carry out the wishes of Directors & Producers.

All my friend's houses appear to be much, much cleaner than mine. I wouldn't dream of snooping. Nothing to see.
