You can indeed, Eth. I'll save you some. ;-)
I love soggy chips from the chippy. I always cook oven chips, myself - not soggy.

It's Saturday, so it's sausage and mash.

Can't beat those meal bags can you, funnily enough the worst I've ever had was a Waitrose one, the best has been an m&s, both Chinese and Indian. Much cheaper than getting a takeaway too.
Ummmm, why are you cooking? Aren't you still poorly?

On me way, Tilly...
Fish finger sarnie with shredded lettuce and tartare sauce; chunky chips.

Am having my starter first, strictly has just started, yay!
Starter - First 8 heats of the Speedway Grand Prix
Main Bourbon Pulled Beef with onion mash and vegetable rice
Pudding - Triple chocolate Tiffin and a hug from anyone willing to give me one
Yes...but cooking is easy and he helps if I ask.
Our usual chicken curry and rice.
Mrs JtH made a delicious Sweet Potato and Butternut Squash Soup earlier and we have a large fresh ciabatta to go with it.

Unfortunately, shortly after, we popped out to the pub and so have just scoffed half a chicken doner kebab each.....:o)
Right, Eth, the pie's in the oven. Lots of bloomin' washing up with it though. :-(
Jack, have the soup later.
Shepherd's pie, green beans and broccoli, no starters or puds though I might have to attack the little bag of chocolate gemstones that came with my Hotel Chocolat tasting box. Have to watch Doc Martin, nothing else we like on Saturday TV, and maybe a Montelbano.
Having just spent most of the day driving back from hol, it was pizza and red wine!
I've just just eaten a rather large amount of very spicey prawns plus an avocado. Will scoff a couple of baby figs in a minute.
Starters was red peppers stuffed with anchovies, cherry tomatoes, spring onions, breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese topped with garlic and pepper flavoured oil with naan breads for mopping up.
Then Rick Steins recipe for duck breasts, browned in a dry pan, then fried garlic, Rosemary, chopped lemon grass. Fish sauce, star anise and lots of orange juice.
Bake in oven for one hour. With carrots, green beans, peas, leeks and asparagus in a butter and lemon dressing and new potatoes.
Burgers with Green stuff on them, but then I ain't complaining I eat most stuff that Mrs av puts in front of me.

Ohhh Rick Stein, Caran. Very posh ;-)

Yes tonyav it's a great recipe, done it quite a few times.
Don't be paying his ridiculous prices down in Padstow though, Caran..
No chance tonyav. Been there a few times but only when daughter has bought us vouchers for Christmas.
Once when we went OH had steak pie. It had one piece of meat in it. He complained. Didn't get charged for it.
