Snacking through the night here. Torts go into hibernation today and I need to do an all nighter to monitor temps and heater thermostats very couple of hours. I do it when they go down, and at the first cold snap.
Probably nothing as we're having a party at work today, which I'll be popping in for after my scan.
OH is having Chicken in a homemade tomato and garlic sauce. I made a homemade dill and feta pesto to stir into the sauce. I'm enjoying making my own pestos right now.
Well I am doing something with pork, apples and cider. I had decided I am not going out until tomorrow and forgot I had a friend coming for supper. Found some pork in the freezer, some apples in the garden, some cider in the booze store. So that's us.
Ooh, lots of different interesting things there.
I've been overruled though, fish, chips and peas it is, not exactly home made unless you count taking the fish out of the bag, opening the box of chunky chips, and defrosting the frozen peas.
If I had to choose I'd go for the nut cutlets and salad, or the paella. Or maybe pork with apples and cider. There again, I do love mushroom risotto...
