Two part question:-

What's your food for tonight?

I've got lots of veg, some bacon, pancetta, mushrooms and cheese. I was meant to be having haggis neeps and tatties but I forgot to take the haggis out the freezer. So I'm struggling for inspiration. Any ideas? (Not a takeaway, I had one last night). At the moment its looking like "Pasta with random stuff out of the fridge sauce".

Or I could just go and nick NoM's meatballs (wonder if Mr NoM will mind)!

Aside from the meatballs and homemade tomato and pesto sauce, I've made a batch of chocolate covered chewy nut bars.

I've also scrubbed every square inch of the kitchen. I must be nesting!
Lasagne!

Oh a "quick and simple" lasagne, Eleena?

Yogi, that sounds fabulous.

NoM. Nesting? Why? Anyone would think you might be due to give birth tomorrow.........
Yes Barmaid.
The way I feel atm, I'll be giving birth to a full-sized adult walrus.

OUCH! That's gonna sting!
I've not yet decided what to have tonight. (It will be absolutely nothing unless I can persuade the cat on my knee to shift!)

However I'm confused as to why forgetting to take the haggis out of your freezer should be a problem. I had half a haggis for my breakfast yesterday and I'll have the other half some time tomorrow. The haggis is/was one I'd bought some time ago and, after cutting it into two, put into my freezer. I simply shove it in the microwave and press the defrost button. Problem solved! (I NEVER take the slightest notice of packaging that says things like 'defrost in a refrigerator overnight'. I just microwave stuff to defrost it. It's not killed me yet!)

Cheese 'n' onion Shoota ?
Rocking with a bowl of soup tonight, tomorrow I might make a pizza as there are bits and bobs in the fridge that need using up.

Need to think head for the rest of the week, have a nice lump of beef fillet in the freezer but as it seems a bit fancy for mid week will save for the weekend.
