They are all only as good as your wheel power. I think I must have tried them all over the years including slimming world. I found they all worked. Loseing the weight was the easy part, keeping it off was the impossible bit. Just about to have another go. Good Luck
You could do worse than trying The South Beach Diet. I lost 2 1/2 stone, and have kept it off, by following the diet set out in the book.

The book it written by a cardiologist and details a diet which he derived to help his heart patients loose excess weight.

It does control the amount of carbs you eat but it seems to be a lot healthier and less extreme than The Atkins Diet.

I now eat what I want when i want and have control of my weight after a good few years.

The book is available in all good book stores, Amazon, etc

Hope this helps and good luck.

If this is the slimmimg world that uses "Food Combining" as a basis then yes, its good. I attended about 7/8 years ago, lost about 1 1/2 stone, but what I learnt about food combining has stood me in good stead ever since. Good luck

Good lord! Who actually pays to be humiliated in public??

Never found they work and am currently losing weight fantastically well by not combining carbs and proteins in the same meal and only eating when I'm hungry.

Eating very healthily and enjoying it loads! Couldn't recommend it enough!

I attended 'Slimming World' about 7 years ago. It was OK. I did lose some weight. I was never 'slimmer of the week', that is the aspect of the class I did'nt like, the humiliation type stuff. However, I thought the 'Food Combining' was good. They always want you to buy stuff at the meetings, books, special SW bars etc., can be expensive. I have just purchased a 'Slimming World' 2005 starters pack from Ebay and I am going to do it on my own and I am NOT going to humiliate myself. But if you lack willpower then go.
