Savoury Ducks

Hi Many years ago my mother used to buy blocks of what she called Ducks. Placed in a pan until they broke down and ended up like a porridge. Awesome on a breadcake. Similar colour to a burger but not solid like a burger. Can you still get them?

What we call savoury ducks, in Stoke, are called faggots elsewhere, I believe. Yes, you can buy faggots.

My Nana used to buy these for her dog nothing like faggots or burgers I was asking around about could you still buy them no one had heard of them so I assume no,rex my Nana's dog loved them however only ever been fed chappy he would
