They are very good, had one for ages.
Yes we have two and I cook nearly everything in them, they are fantastic, everything tastes fabulous x
I too have two! Brilliant for lots of foods.
Low fat oil? Does such a thing exist?

I'm also a little torn on the air fryer thing. My in-laws have one but they don't use it very often.
i have one, but it's ot one that you add oil to (you have to add it to the food). I suppose it's more like a small fa oven
To my mind you can only fry in oil and not in hot air! I wouldn't give one house room.
Diddlydo, not all air fryers need oil, and some only need a teaspoon full.
Can't speak from experience, but will say I've considered them a number of times and reviews put me off. If they can't do potato chips like a good old fashioned deep fryer chippie, all crunchy outside, softer inside, then it fails at the first test.
OG I have a Duronic air fryer and it does exactly that, crisp on outside soft in centre.
They can do Chips OG, do them all the time, no idea how anyone can have an issues with them they're just plain wonderful x
Do they work on food that has been coated in batter or breadcrumbs?
Yes
Thanks Danny.
Food tastes better, less greasy, wouldn't go back to an oil fryer.
Takes about 25mins to do my chips. Mines a Tefal.
Worth a look (Which? guide to buying)....scroll down past "Sign up now".....

(Incidentally, all the Best Buys are Philips and Tefal with a cheap Morphy Richards also recommended.)
Didn't like Tefal, Duronic is miles better.
We've got Phillips and they've have been used and used and used and are still exceptionally good x
If I want chips I cut spuds as chips and put in shallow oil in oven - done in 23 min - crisp on outside, soft within. No need for special equipment.
I have two air fryers......a Phillips and one from Lidl....both are great but if I could only have one it would be the Lidl....
The food....and I use it for lots of foods.....cooks beautifully...much better than in my oven.....cooked well and remains moist and tender...

Baked potatoes are the best I've tasted and chips are delicious....so much tastier than adulterated with oil chips.....just fluffy potato and crispy outers....bliss...x
