I am trying to remember the name of a (?Italian) accompaniment to a cheese board.
I'm pretty sure it begins with a P but isnt panacotta, pancetta, panettone.
Help needed!
Thanks.
No, no wolf - I should have said that it isn't a cheese. It is like a compacted disc of mixed fruits and maybe nuts.
It's driving me mad that I can't remember the name of it.
That reminds me that a few days after Christmas last year, Waitrose had these genuine Italian panforte reduced by 50%.....and then by 50% again.....I bought several at £1.75....they lasted AGES!
