Does anyone apart from me make their own pastry and mincemeat these days? The only shop-bought mince pies I've been offered are truly awful.

Family mixing bowl has been passed down from early 1900 for stirring the pudding.Youngest Daughter has promised to take over even the recipe dates back to 1942 an Atora suet one my Mum kept . So fragile I gave re typed it .
