At the moment the fashion is to either no animal products at all, or to eat mostly meat. Both profess huge health benefits. Has anyone here tried either, and how did you find them?

But it also emphasises getting carbs from lots of leafy greens and above ground veg, even berries and dark chocolate.
I've done pretty low carb, and I feel better on it. If I was ever to eat the 'recommendations' for multiple portions of grains and starchy carbs, I'd be bloated and a good 20 pounds heavier than I am. I couldn't be a vegan...I'd be hungry all the time. Full...but hungry.
I know several people who lost huge amounts of weight on keto or LCHF, and several who managed to normalize their blood sugars when they were diabetic.
No way of eating is one-size-fits-all.
