French Fried Chicken

Time on my my hands today folks to ponder the trivialities of life. Anyhow, my local Indian Takeaway offers two versions of "chicken and chips". The first is called "fried chicken and chips" and the second, "french fried chicken and chips". What's the difference likely to be? Is it that the second one is more likely to be similar to a piece of KFC chicken ie coated and spiced etc?
Bit strange buying chicken and chips from an Indian Takeaway I know, but my nearest KFC is some miles away! Curiously, they also offer Chow Mein.

Reading a recipe it would appear that the French bit comes from including Dijon Moutarde in the coating.

I think the difference between fried chicken and french fried chicken is that french fried chicken comes with a cigarette.

Whatever it is I’m sure it’ll be a hundred times better than the foul concoctions offered by KFC. If the nearest one is several miles away I guess that makes you just about safe ;-)

Ah well, seems like it still remains a mystery apart from a possible clue from shoota. Clearly, no one else has tried the meal as described. Thank you all for your replies.
