..what’s your go to meal?
Ours is usually either cheese and tomato on toast, beans on toast with grated cheese on top, or scrambled eggs. Tonight it’s the first option.

Sautéed Chicken livers on toast are divine.
We have an old 'toasted sandwich' machine - the sort that cuts the sarnies into triangles as it cooks them.

Variants on Cheese/Ham/Salami with mustard/tomato/pickle are my go-to CBA tea :)

Cheese and pineapple on toast, cheese and tomato on toast, cheese and baked besnd on toast, cheese, cheese and more cheese. But there's usually home made stuff in the freezer. I cook two of most things. A spare for the can't be bothered days
Cheesey scrambled eggs...mixed with cream, and Boursin plus spring onions. Or a tin of chilli sardines over seasoned cauli rice.
I managed to get chicken livers yesterday, so its pan fried in butter garlicky liver and onions tomorrow night.
Cheese seems a popular option here
I got rid of my sandwich maker so I could get a waffle maker. I make "chaffles", a low carb waffle made with cheese and eggs. I use them with burgers or sausages, for avocado toast, mushrooms on toast...etc.
Cheese is the only food I couldn't live without!

My 'can't be rsed' meal is usually a simple omelette - either cheese or mushroom. Couple of tomatoes on the side.
Much of that sounds like bothering to me. I'd opt for a takeaway.

Digestive biscuits with cream cheese and strawberry jam

Pasta and a jar of pasta sauce, cheese on top.

Sounds yummy Aunt Polly, Dont like fried onion but I like raw onion with cheese and plenty of black pepper
Can't be bothered cooking? I'd go for a can of beer and a pickled-egg followed by a can of beer with a pickled-egg.
I love scrambled eggs Vagus, but they are a proper fuss and not something I think of as an easy option. In fact I cant remember the last time I had them, only on holiday!
