PS: The 'sweetened condensed milk' in those recipes goes under the brand name 'Carnation' in the UK. (Make sure you pick up the 'condensed' milk, not the 'evaporated' type).

thanks i am printing lots off but i am in the uk so is it condensed milk or evaporated i use thanks again
You're looking for Carnation CONDENSED Milk. (It's got sugar in it. Avoid Carnation Evaporated Milk and Carnation Light Condensed Milk - The former hasn't got sugar. The latter isn't creamy enough).
