Has anyone used these? They came up when I searched for avocados on Sainsbury's site. I'm curious as they would be useful for avocado on toast. Reviews are mixed...but more positive than not.

Yes. I would use them for toast but not in salad. They are slightly mushy so kinda perfect for toast, and defrost really fast.

That's what I'd thought they would be good for...and guacamole.
Wonder if Tesco do these. Need to order if they do. Love avocado.
Yes the do tigger.
Cool :o)
I tried them and threw then out -they were from Iceland though so maybe the Sainsbury's ones are nicer. I use Avocados mashed on toast and for Guacamole.
Watery when defrosted so crush and blot with kitchen paper
Tesco did them a few years ago and they tasted totally yuk on toast or otherwise; but maybe the process has been improved.

I've tried them from most of the supermarkets here, (rep or Irel) not yet had a decent bag, only good avocado is a fresh one imo - I think they are too mushy and while most fruit and veg freeze well, I don't think Avocados do,any I bought were mushy and only fit for a smoothie of sorts - I remember I bought them out of curiosity from seeing a thread on here
Question Author
I'll probably ignore my curiosity for the foreseeable future.
