Electric Toaster

Can anyone recommend an electric toaster which doesn't bake the bread in the process. The best toast I can remember is what you got when using the red hot embers of a camp fire. Can that be replicated indoors?

I find using the grill better than a toaster.

I have a Breville toaster. It's decent, the kids like it.

I recently bought one of Asda's own and it browns the toast to perfection on no. 2 on the dial.

The whole experience of the camp fire etc affects your taste and so it can't be replicated indoors, just get as close as you can.
