Induction Hobs
10 Answers
I have inherited a house with an induction hob. It doesn't heat anything up that isn't made of iron. I want to use my aluminiun coffee percolator on it. It seems to me that the best way to do this would be to place an iron plate between hob and percolator. But I haven't found anywhere that sells such a thing. Any ideas?

I grew-up with gas, Karl, and cooked by it all my life until 5 years ago when I moved here and there was no gas in the village. Never any problem in the slightest with gas - and you could light a candle from the hob when the electricity fails (you could also see where the flame was). 'Heat that obeys you' as the slogan said.
