Morrisons Tinned Tuna Steak

Has anyone managed to get into Morrisons Pole & Line Caught Drained Tuna Steak? It is a stack of 3 cans with a blue wrapper all around them and my cat is clawing my leg off because I can't remove the wrapper. (He had to make do with gammon ham).

If you have, please share the secret!

I usually get into those sort of packs with a sharp pair of scissors, snipping into the plastic wrapper at the top.

Try and work out where cans start and end and cut through with a knife

Never had a problem. Although it's been a while since I last tried.

Give them to the cat, it can claw the wrapper off if it's that keen.

I use a Stanley knife for tough wrappings. It's the only way I can open Amazon parcels.

You should not be feeding your cat tuna or, especially, ham. What's wrong with cat food?

PS: Cats should only be allowed to eat canned tuna very occasionally. It's not good for them as part of their regular diet:

I sometimes give Frankie some tinned Tuna - it's the only way that I can get peace to eat my share.

Assuming that a cat is neither Muslim or Jewish, APG, I can't think of any reason why one shouldn't feed it ham ;-)

Ham has loads of salt in it and the 'cure' that makes it ham is full of chemicals. Cats should be fed cat food, with the occasional treat of course.
Ham and other salty meats and foods are very dangerous to pets. In addition to being high in fat, they are also very salty which can cause serious stomach ache or pancreatitis.

My Caspar loved Italian salami...he generally only got it at Christmas, and maybe a few other times a year. He would have been happy with it every day.
