Buy a jar of curry paste (it's better than curry powder). Chop a large onion & fry gently until soft. Add the chopped lamb and stir in about a teaspoon full of the curry paste. Add a little stock (made with boiling water & Oxo cube. Simmer on a very low heat for about 45 minutes, checking to see whether liquid has evaporated, & adding more if necessary. If you like some sweetness in your curry you can always add a few sultanas or some chopped dried apricots.
WendyS is right. Id stick in some natural yougurt at the end to thicken it though. And make sure you get some mint and corrinder to garnish! mmm, my tummy is rumbling already! x
Don't forget some fresh garlic, fry it with the meat and onions. Also ginger if you like ginger. I always use some tomatoes too. You can use tin or fresh tomatoes.
