Always. Like them piping hot, dripping with butter !
Er, isn't the word 'hot' meant to be a clue?

Of course I toast them!

Well, I do too, but not everyone does.
I once attempted to toast those chocolate ones, what a mess! Didn’t like them anyway.
No, just add butter.
Always toasted.
When I tried to buy hot cross buns in Morrison's a while back, they were out of stock, so I tried this instead

It's absolutely gorgeous when toasted and smothered in butter ;-)
No, we never toast ours, we simply open ours up and put a decent slice of cheddar cheese inside ours. yummy!
ps. dont knock it until youve tried it. We never eat ours any other way now.x
Always and with butter. Has to be the trad ones too, can't stand all these chocolate, toffee, orange etc variations.
I like them hot or cold with butter. Just traditional ones.
I toast em. Aldi 3 berry are nice (they also do brioche & white choc varieties!)

Special ones (reduced) 99p for 4
Bog standard 59p for 6
Haven't had one for years.
With cheese, mmmmm
But I picked the wrong ones up in Asda yesterday, they had white chocolate in the cross, bleughhh
I`m not sure that I`ve ever eaten one. My Mum used to by them when I was little and I quite liked the smell but I don`t really eat cake type things.
*buy*

Was it a couple of years ago there was a suggestion of making a bacon buttie with them? Think I’d like that, the sweet/salty thing, which I really like.
Really don’t like the fancy pancy ones, just the traditional really fruity ones, toasted, with loads of salty butter.
Thank you for the tip about the Irish Fruit loaf Buenchico. I wish i had known about these earliermwhen I ordered my Morrisons doorstep delivery.I love a fruit loaf x
Always - me. Never - husband.

We occasionally buy Warburtons Fruit Loaf which is lovely, quite hot cross bunish.
