Sandwich Toaster

I want to find the MOST expensive sandwich toaster on the market. I can't seem to beat �35 and there must be something amazing out there costing a couple of hundred in silver or something.

You want a Dualit combination toaster and s/wich toaster. Come in differenet colours as well as s/steel. Up to 6 slots, plus with s/wich facility. Try www.nisbets.co.uk or any good cookshop. These are commercial units and will last for ever - and aren't cheap. If you want to spend more, get a panini grill with floating surfaces. (All plug into 13A. so you don't need commercial poeer supply)

As a word of warning, Nisbets return policy is appalling.
We have bought �1000's of stuff, but when we had a problem, they were worse than useless and ended up supplying us with a vegetable prep machine with a useless blade - wouldn't obtain a new blade and wouldn't take the machine back. There are no other UK suppliers for the machine and the company itself won't help...But you would probably be ok with Dualit. You can buy them direct here

Ok so this doesn't beat your �35 price bracket but this is (in my opinion) the best toaster ever - the Breville Sandwich Press. And you don't have to butter the sarnies on the outside which I remember having to do with a traditional toaster!

Agree with Nisbets comment, snapd. I'll try and offer alternatives.

Had a few dealings but not the same sort of problems. Their stock level is good, but as you say, after-sales and some attitude on the 'phone - inc. from directors - is nothing special.
