My specialty - Make Honeydew and Rock Melon Balls, add dried coconut (large shavings), soak in white rum. Add juices - pineapple and/or orange, mango, coconut & passionfruit. Looks good in a large glass with big chunks of pineapple & bananaa on an umbrella stick. If serving in a punchbowl add fresh currants too. mmmmm
A classic Cuban cocktail is the Mojito. According to the back of my bottle of Havana Club, bought in the Cuban capital, the proportions are a half-teaspoon of sugar; the juice of a lemon; a measure (5cl) of white rum; chopped mint; ice cubes; and soda water to taste. It should be served with a sprig of mint; preferably on a boiling hot day.
