Delicious Snack
8 Answers
I've just eaten some pea shoots which I sowed in my airing cupboard 10 days ago - quite a tasty little snack.
That means I can eat home grown food throughout the winter, something I've not achieved before.
Sadly the other two didn't work out - I think I failed to keep them moist enough (they were radish and broccoli). Any comments ?

Thank you for the comments.
Pasta: I sowed them on fibre mats.
Cloverjo: I will eat other (shop-bought) stuff ;-)
In the picture, Peas shows what was left after I cut them last week - the shoots were about 6 or 7 inches long and the picture shows just the bits left.
My attempt at reviving the other two has partially succeeded with the radishes (tasted very "hot") but the broccoli a total failure. I will make a fresh attempt and pay more attention to keeping them moist at all times.
