Has bread got bigger....?

jon I have noticed lately that to do a piece of toast I have to put it in one way and then turn it upside down to do the other half, I would have to conclude that bread slices are being made bigger.

Yeah, some types of bread are longer than the toaster. Rathbones being the one I can recall at the moment.

By the way jon my wife insists that if I were a bit brighter I would cut the bread in half and toast them one at once.

My divorce lawyers disagree.

It took me weeks to find a toaster that would take standard sliced bread! In the meantime I was grilling my toast.

I eventually found a Hinari toaster that will toast a slice in one go - so they are out there, just few and far between.
