Who Buys Bottled Water??

I’ve just had to pop into supermarket to get a couple of things and they had practically sold out of bottled water(I was just looking for a tiny single bottle as I was so thirsty) and when I looked around I couldn’t believe how many peoples trolleys were full of the great big multi-packs of 6/8 big bottles. Even at the till all 3 people before me had at least one of these big packs. Couldn’t believe how popular it was.
So how many here buy bottled water??

me and err indoors have stopped buying it for about 6 months. We have nice stainless steel refillable bottles now. Fortunately our tap water is delicious.

We do. We buy the small 500ml bottles & buy a large crate each month.

I buy sparkling water...the water here stinks of chlorine and is undrinkable to me.

I buy it if i'm away from home for any length of time. Tap water tastes different everywhere you go and it sometimes takes some getting used to.

Have to admit I do prefer sparkling water, even tho I rarely buy it.

I used to until I got a Brita water filter. I've also now got a fridge with a water dispenser which uses the same filter cartridge as the brita filter. I hate the smell of chlorine and the filter removes it.

I wonder just how much water is sat in bottles around the world at any one time. If it were all emptied in to the oceans at the same time would anything happen?

All I drink is bottled water.

Our tap water is lovely and I drink gallons of it. In fact, it's my main drink. The only time we have bought bottled water is when we suddenly feel the need for a drink when out and haven't brought any tap water with it.

Fortunately, we cant taste the chlorine in our water. Our water is also hard water. I can't stand soft water to drink.

Bottled water companies don't produce bottled water, they produce plastic bottles.

My MIL will only drink bottled water, whereas MrSmow refuses to drink it lol.

Our tap water is supplied by Severn Trent .

Sparkling water had a refreshing taste. Even so I don't buy it very often.

Dave will sometimes buy sparkling water. I never drink bottled water.

The spring water here tastes wonderful and Dave doesn't mind taking a couple of buckets to the well to fetch it for me. ;-)
