Got about 40 coming for pre Christmas drinks and nibbles. Then 11 on Boxing day.
I need ideas for nibbles that do not include pastry or cheese (cos I've got loads of pastry and cheese based stuff).
Got mini yorkies and beef; pigs in blankets and cubed belly pork.
I shall follow this thread with interest. I am having a "housewarming" in a couple of weeks' time with family only for now. We will no doubt have a BBQ for a wider set of guests when the garden is done and at a suitable time of year.
I need some inspiration for food to lay on. One "nut allergy", one fish-hater and one FIL who eats anything as long as it consists of meat, potatoes, sprouts, plain crisps and / or the Hovis medium-sliced white.
Of course I am perfectly okay to serve nuts, fish and anything outside of FIL's culinary preference range as long as it is signposted from 100 yards.
Cut a little round of bread, put some goats cheese on it, wrap it around with a strip of chargrilled courgette and drip a bit of sumac dressing (or some other type of dressing)
