There is a slight softening of the less green part, so I'm hopeful. I'm thinking it may be a bit slow because I'm a lacking on the temperature side.

Dare I ask .. what size is the mango? Can be anything from a few ounces to 4 or 5 lbs.

nver mind the size, feel it! If there's a nice little give as you press down on it, then it's ready..... nothing wrong with a mango that's just turned ripe!
