Is it true that McDonalds are planning on cutting the amount of fat in their fries? I heard their halving it?

I read the other day that they have less fat in them than Burger King fries. Also the burgers from MacDonalds had less fat than Burger King burgers.

This is apparently true though only for now in the US, however I doubt it will make a great deal of difference to the of your average American's arse. Incideentally the fries contain no potato but a maize pulp, which explains their uniform size
