Non alcoholic drinks

I am taking antibiotics at the moment for a tooth infection and can't drink alcohol whilst on them. I am going out with friends this weekend, I usually drink slim line tonic if I don't have alcohol but this gets a bit boring. Any suggestions anyone.

Lime cordial and soda water - with lots of ice and a twist of lime. And you can drink quite a few before you start to drown!

Have you tried Mud?!!

Half OJ and Half coke/diet coke. Sounds horrible but tastes great!!

hi i had tooth infection and was on antibiotics you can drink but not a lot even ask your dentist.

I have been suffering with the same thing. Worse still, I was on antibiotics New Years Eve!! There is only so much orange juice you can drink in one night!! I just stuck to water or J2O's as well. (Nothing inspires you when everyone else is drinking aroun you!)

What I would say is check the names of the tablets on google to see what information there is. I defiintely couldn't drink with mine as they were quite strong, so worth checking out for yourself.

Tomato juice with loads of Worcester Sauce and Tabasco.

Some antibiotics are less effective with alcohol, but don't cause any adverse effects, however some antibiotics taken with alcohol have similar effects to drugs given to people to stop them drinking alcohol and have nasty reactions. Check which ones yours are. Otherwise what about RedBull? You will end up hyper though.

Guava juice and tonic is a pleasant drink but the juice is sold in those waxed cartons and I doubt whether it's available in pubs and bars.
