Am I right in thinking it is salt from the bacon? Why is it stuck when it is a non stick pan?

How do you get brown stains out of non stick pans?

Mix solution: Mix of two tablespoons white vinegar, baking soda, and a small amount of water in the pan. Heat: Place the pan on your stove and apply heat. Boil: Let the mixture boil for up to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool down: After five minutes, remove the pan from heat and allow it to cool

The above method should remove the mark. It could be that you fried the bacon on to high a heat

I always grill my bacon, but(then and now) I use/d Dry Cured Bacon, and didn't get any nasty residue.
