If there wasn't a catch, it's an exceptional offer.  (They're all decent enough wines).

However there is, of course, a catch.

Quote 1:

Quote 2:
"By redeeming this offer you agree to try the Virgin Wines WineBank. Your default monthly WineBank deposit is £25 . . ."

To be fair to Virgin Wines, you can cancel your subscription (and have any unused funds returned to you) at any time but you'd need to remember to do so if you didn't really want to end up paying a monthly subscription.

If we were still drinking wine the way we used to, then yes, they look very nice and it's always good to try different ones at a reasonable price.

However, to me, a case is 12 bottles, there only seem to be 9 in that offer.

I came across this advert in our local weekly paper (the Justified and Ancient Cardigan and Teifiside Advertiser) which contained the phrase "no membership fees or tie ins".

However, I take your point and shall be careful.

Thanks for your opinion on the wines I thought they might be some slow sellers that they were trying to get rid of :-)
