Last Meal

Just had a conversation with OH about what he'd choose for his last meal. He couldn't decide on any specific one, it was a choice of three.

 Myself, there's no contest, it would be a roast dinner.

What about you, what would you choose?

That would be on my roast dinner, Hopkirk, for sure 😋

hadnt thought of a pud but mine would be extra specially delicious fresh ripe strawberries or home made lemon meringue pie...don't know why it has to be homemade as I've never made a completely home made one, just a bought sponge flan and a packet mix.

OHs would be Chinese takeaway, a tiger prawn and chorizo thing I make, or rib eye steak with all the trimmings.

I've only ever had lobster once, lobster Thermidor at a restaurant on Anglesey, it was delicious, I've never had another opportunity to have it. Maybe that's my new year resolution..🦞

Some how I don't think I would have much of a appetite 😕.  But if I  had to a liquid lunch of a few bottles of whiskey 🙃

Aperitif: Draught Guiness

Starter: Eggs Benedict

Main: Welsh Rarebit with Marmite on toast as a side dish

Dessert: Strawberry Mousse

Selection of cheeses

Green tea

Dusty, think last meal before you had all your teeth removed with no hope of falsies, rather than any more sinister reason 😉

I forgot about eggs Benedict, how could I??? That would have to be my starter, although how I'd fit in a roast dinner afterwards I really don't know 😏

I wouldn't have a proper meal - I'd have all the foods I haven't eaten for years due to my strict diet.

Such as pork pie, battered sausage, toasted cheese sandwich, apple pie and custard, sticky toffee pudding, wine gums, giant chocolate profiterole.....

Simple - Mince, tatties and peas or  fish and chips followed by Cranachan.

A roast beef dinner, with horse raddish, roast potatoes, cabbage, swede, carrots, cheesy leeks, cauliflower cheese, thick beef gravy.

Fresh seafood, with more fresh seafood, followed by more fresh seafood.

Geez I'd like to live near the ocean.

A Full English Breakfast,but it has to have fried bread with it.

My Mother wasn't a very good cook,but her fried bread was to die for! LOL
