even though the website says it's delivering until late, (11:00 PM), when I just went on just eat, it said I could only deliver up to 15:20
any ideas?

So, as far as KFC are concerned, they can provde food up until 2300 but that won't help you if there won't be any delivery staff working at that time. (Delivery guys only want to be on duty when they know that there will be a near-continuous stream of orders for them to take out. Otherwise they'll be hanging around (possibly outside in the cold), totally unpaid, for long periods of time.
>>> surely most takeaway trade occurs early evening
Agreed. However the couriers are more likely to want to work in areas where there are multiple takeaways, rather than just one or two.
For example, just out of interest (as I never order food deliveries), I looked at Just Eat a few evenings back and noticed that they'd got no couriers available for the nearest McDonalds to me, which isn't anywhere near to any other Just Eat outlets. However they'd got couriers available for all of their takeaway places just a couple of miles away fom there, where there would be far more pick-ups available for their workers. The couriers are self-employed and only want to work where they can be sure of a continuous stream of orders.
