I've heard people say that Gin makes you depressed. Is this true and if so could it happen not whilst drinking but the following day?

The following day's effects are caused by dehydration, and the varying degree of alcohol poisoning (referred to by the more user-friendly term of 'hangover') that the drinker has endured. Feeling lousy is one of the most common effects.
