Re-freezing chicken
3 Answers
Hi,
Would it be ok to buy chicken breasts fresh, freeze, thaw, then freeze again?
How about from fresh to frozen, then thawed, then cooked, then frozen again?
Basically I have quite a few chicken breasts in the fridge which I froze when I first got them and thawed them out. However I'm not going to eat them very soon and it seems a waste to chuck them out. I don't mind cooking them and then freezing them, but is that ok?
Ta!

You just have to make sure you re-haet it properly when you come to use it. Try dividing the chicken breasts in to sandwhich bags before you freeze them, that way you only have to take out the amount you need next time. Hope I helped.
