Currently enjoying one with juice of half a lime, a big ice cube and a small can of tonic. It's surprisingly good. We have some Helsinki dry gin waiting for us to try too,and something called Wood gin, also from Finland.

The bottles when empty will join the others decorating the summer house. Hic 🍸

Just about to pour a cask strength Askaig. :-)

Lovely. You've just reminded me of a holiday in Minorca  near the end of the season. They must have been trying to run down their stock, because I got a gin and tonic that was about 9/10 gin.

That's interesting, I didn't know they made gin in Mallorca but I see it's a newish thing, only last 20 years or so. Of course Menorcan gin (Xoriguer) has been made on that island since the 1700s. I have 16 empty litre bottles decorating my dining room sideboard winerack :-) I really like that herby mediterranean flavour, I expect the Mallorcan one is similar.

Prudie, I've got one of those bottles. Unfortunately I wasn't there long enough to collect 16. πŸ˜€

If it's a litre bottle clover look after it, they stopped selling it in litre bottles to the public a few years ago, it's only in 750cl bottles now :-(

Actually Prudie, it's the Menorcan one of that name. I was given it as a gift and told is was a mallorcan gin, it's not πŸ™„β˜ΊοΈ
I like Gordon's gin and find this menorcan one quite similar, very gin tasting, and very drinkable.

Wow clover, were you still standing when you left, that's a hefty gin load πŸ˜‰πŸΈ
