anyone got some yummy recipe ideas using greek yoghurt, vegetarian ones? I have it in a tortilla wrap with veges, but how else can I utilise greek yoghurt?
I drain mine overnight in a muslin cloth in a fine mesh sieve, it gets really thick andI use it to make a really creamy but low fat garlic and herb dip.
We had this in Greece last summer and it was fab: slice ripe peaches and arrange on a plate, top with softly whipped greek yoghurt, then dribble over runny honey and then finish with a good sprinkling of cinnamon. You'll have to wait till the summer for the peaches but it'll definitely be worth it!
I like to make tzatziki with crushed garlic, chopped mint, pinch of salt, white wine vinegar and finely chopped cucumber.Yummy with warm pitta.Or for a healthy breakfast add fresh raspberries and runny honey and enjoy!
