when did sliced bread first come to the uk. was it wonderloaf?? silly row going on here we no about the usa date.

First wonder bread was produced in US in 1930 and by 1933 80% of all US bread was sliced and it had started its dominence in the bread market of other countries including the UK.
Mrs Jo's finger seems to have slipped along the keyboard, from 'k' to 's':

Wonderbread was the first sliced loaf in the UK (not the US) in, as Mrs Jo says, 1930.

No it was definately started in the US as my original post says....they took over the indianapolis bread company..
