the only difference i know is sats got pips clems havent
I think satsumas are only around at xmas time

I think satsumas take four weeks to go black in the fruitbowl after xmas and clementines take six weeks.

I read a newspaper article a few weeks ago. It reported the reason satsumas are so hard to find as being that continental growers are changing to sharper citrus fruits, like mandarins and clementines, as the market is larger. Apparently non-British Europeans prefer these fruits, while British folk prefer the sweeter satsuma.

The satsuma run off with a grapefruit and became a gratsuma.the clementine got fed up and ran off with a banana....if you dont believe me,google gratsuma...(:)
