Why do biscuits taste a hundred times better after they have been dunked?

I personally have a ones that I prefer with tea and others for coffee. A penguin has to be my xmas dunking treat though!

i think that malted milk are the best biscuits to dunk ,when they are dry, they don't have a taste ,but dunk them and they are really yummy,full of flavour !!

Have you tried Tim Tams from Australia? You can get them in tesco. You bite off a corner, then the opposite and use it to suck your tea though until you feel it touch your lips, then you shove it in your mouth before it melts! They are so lush! You can do it with penguins as well although they aren't quite as good!

snappy, thats great with a penguin when you suck through it....but try it with a rocky and you will never go back to anything else, can be messy but not if you are quick enough to put it in your mouth!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I was born in Islington, then moved to Dagenham (now the pits), aged 1 year & lived there until after our marriage, then moved into our first new home in Bedfordshire.

My siblings live in Barking, Romford, Hornchurch & Brentwood. Where do you live?

Smudge, we must stop meeting like this! I was born in Romford road West Ham, in the middle of the blitz. We got bombed out & moved to Chadwell Heath.

Lived in Pembrokeshire for the last 50 years though, and dont want to leave!

I missed the war (born 1947). But I've heard so many stories about those days from my Mum, Dad & elder siblings. It all sounded so sosy down in the air raid shelters & tube stations, but I bet they didn't think so at the time!

Yes, I do have a very young outlook on life - probably because I got married & had our first baby at nearly 18! Our two daughters have kept us both very young at heart & people tell us that we both look young for our ages. Not blowing any trumpets, it's just what people tell us! It's great to be taken for the parents of our Granadchildren too - what fun!
