Does anyone know what happened to Gypsy Creams (and some other biscuits called something like Butter Crisps)?

Do you mean Butter Puffs? I love those and they seem to have disappeared, I wanted some at Xmas and couldn't find any. I think they may be included in the Tins of assorted crackers from Jacobs but the individual packets seem to have gone.

That's it - Butter Puffs (question if for my husband and I couldn't remember what they were called!).

Anyone remember Jacobs Puff Cracknels? They were gorgeous with butter. Sadly discontinued many years ago.

I loved dunking Gypsy Creams in tea.. Mmm lovely chocolatey and coconutty biscuit. Still available in Australia but under a different name, if you've got a Home Bargains pound shop in your area, look out for aussie ones, they get them in occasionally

A friend informs me that they are now called "Romany Creams" honest, I googled this and hey presto, Romany creams. the worlds gone mad

Once again, this site should help:

Type "gypsy creams" into the "Search feedback" box on the left.

don't Cornish Wafers taste just like butter puffs, or have I lost the plot here (VERY possible!) lol.
