I have read that uncrushed seeds cannot be digested properly - e.g. sunflower, pumpkin, etc. I have tried using pestle and mortar without success. Does anyone know of a grinder which will do this job?

On masterchef this week they used a kitchen mince grinder to make red curry paste. I see no reason why you couldnt use this, though im not sure the point of crushing the seeds up.

Thank you Bluejonjo - I'll have a look at one of those. Am enjoying Masterchef, I have to admire them for going through all that! Cheers,
