I am trying to lose a stone in weight. I regularly go to the gym but now i'm coming off the weights and doing more running, swimming and cycling. What foods should i be eating? I am also trying to tone my stomach. I try and do 200 various sit-ups a nite. Is there any Foods that are good for this?

I am 11 3/4 stone. I'd be happy to get under 11 stone.

If you have weight to lose you can not tone your stomach. You could have the best six pack in the world but if there is a little layer of fat nobody will ever see. Further you can not spot reduce without surgery.

With the information you have presented just eat a balanced diet. Watch the fat and sugar content and eat plenty of veggies. As simple as that.

If you go back to the weights try and eat a little more lean protein. Remember muscle burns more calories than fat at rest.

Overall take you time, no more than 1 to 2 and a half pounds per week should be lost. MAX. If more comes off, trust the doctors it will be either water retention or muscle NOT fat.
